Transport costs

Transport directly related to treatment is covered in accordance with current legislation. The means of transport (professional ambulance) is prescribed by the nephrologist. However, you are free to choose your transport provider. Our secretariat can provide you with a list of companies that can provide medical transport.

Charges for services

The centre has agreements with the various paying bodies and these rates are approved. The Caisses d'Assurance Maladie (Health Insurance Funds) set the fixed rates for sessions and practitioners' fees, and details of the rates for reimbursement of your transport costs are posted in the centre's waiting room.
The management of the establishment is at your disposal for any further information.

Outpatient transport and consultations

From 1 October 2018, all transport prescribed for a transfer between 2 health establishments (including from or to chemotherapy, radiotherapy and dialysis centres) is organised and paid for by the prescribing health establishment.
If, during your stay in hospital, you are required to travel on leave for personal reasons, the cost of this transport will be borne by you.
You have been prescribed transport for radiotherapy sessions carried out by a private practice or a health centre: you have a choice of transport company and this transport will be reimbursed by the Assurance Maladie under the usual reimbursement conditions.
